    An aching pain

Written by Cliff on Friday 30 January 2004 at 5:01 pm

There comes a time when you feel some pressure on your chest – after seeing the unexpected consequences of something you felt you did well. There is a pain that can push your tears to the brim of your eyes feeling that your efforts were not well rewarded. Why do things that do not reward you anyway? Am I making a big mistake?

It is not a happy secret – not to be able to know what let you down, simply a mechanism to get you a piece of paper. There has to be a better way, a better style to enable a whoesome education to take place.

It is a big mistake afterall, I need more exposure to see what I do not see now. My emotions are one long moving average and this… this will take years to heal as with previous years’ experiences. I will never forgive this place for taking my pride, happiness and willingness to improve. I can’t take much more, how much longer can I last?

    blizzard in london

Today I had my first university interview from Imperial College, thanks god everything went extremely smoothly, the professor seemed to like me very much. When I roamed the land of London after the interview, a blizzard came all in a sudden, like a meteoroid drop, as a photographer, I only know “if you missed it, you lost it”, after shooting instantly around with my camera, I became complete soaked.

So much has happened today… and all for the first time.

In case everyone thought that Winamp has not been upgraded since version 3 or even 2.78, there is goodness out there. Winamp 5 has blasted into existence with a very likeable media library, integrated internet radio/TV and new funktionality. I have it, maybe you should check it out too.

    Return from Egypt

IMG_1744 (Custom).JPGI have returned from Egypt, visiting Hurghada, Luxor, Edfu, Aswan and Cairo. It is a beautiful place with clear, sunny weather 99% of the time. The food and dryness may not suit everyone well though. The historic sites provide sharp contrast between the cultures that existed 3,000 years ago and the cultures as we see it today. Only the tallest buildings in Cairo can match the height of the great Kufu Pyramid and even so, the pyramids were built without cranes nor modern technology.

We stand in awe… Please check out the gallery.
