Today, I visited the new Timetech watch factory in Shenzhen, China just 2 hours from Hong Kong. It is a new factory – having just opened for ‘operations’ today. The factory encompasses a large plot of land where watches are made, fixed and designed. Modern furniture, technological equipment and vast tracts of land are immediately visible to the human eye.

Being the linking city between the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong, Shenzhen has boomed for quite a few years. Factories have sprung up in the city centre and property prices have soared threefold.
