Today, I was arrested by two plainclothes policemen.
I was released without charge after four minutes of interrogation. The two were alarmed that I was carrying a cloth bag whilst wearing business clothes on a Saturday afternoon. Of note, the cloth bag had the words: “Morgan Stanley Dean Witter” all over it.
In case you are wondering why the gallery looked wacky, we are renovating its style to put more emphasis on the subject image and to remove unnecessary clutter. We are in the proceses of(1) removing all the sidebars; (2) changing the colour scheme to dark grey; (3) enhancing intra photo navigation; and (4) general text and aesthetical enhancements.
The Hong Kong Legislators have recently passed a bill that provides for legitimate covert surveillance, bringing Hong Kong in line with other major jurisidictions around the world and securing its place as a safe place to do business. There has been resistance to the bill mainly by liberal politicians who feel that privacy may be interfered with. However, ‘Long Hair’, a prominent activist for civil ‘rights’ has supported this bill and indicated that the end-result was a win-win situation.
